We collect information you provide when creating an account (email address, username), payment information processed through our payment providers (we do not store raw card numbers), and usage data such as proxy bandwidth consumed, API requests made, and wallet transactions. We also collect technical data including IP addresses used to access the control panel and browser type for security purposes.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve the yaproxy service, process payments and maintain your wallet balance, send transactional emails (billing alerts, account security notices), detect and prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Third-Party Services

yaproxy routes proxy and API traffic through BrightData's network. BrightData may process connection metadata (source IP, timestamp, target domain) in accordance with their own privacy policy. Payment processing is handled by PayPal. Cryptocurrency payments are processed on-chain with no third-party processor. We use industry-standard infrastructure providers for hosting.

Data Retention

Account data is retained for the duration of your account and deleted within 30 days of account closure. Usage event records (bandwidth, request counts) are retained for 12 months for billing reconciliation. Transaction history is retained for 7 years to meet financial record-keeping requirements. Logs containing IP addresses are purged after 90 days.

For users in the European Economic Area, you also have the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
